1.
I saw a window It looked most familiar Had I seen it once before Cracks in the pane Chips in the frame That old, familiar smell Of tree green paint When I looked through the window I saw nothing I hadn't seen before Waving trees and honey bees And a river unwinding Cracks in the pane Chips in the frame That old, familiar sound When you say my name

I See You 04:05
All the while I see you Hold me I'm falling in love and I'm insecure Hold me and Touch me I see you What do I mean when I Can't switch off What do I mean when I Can't let go I see you I see you Touch me I'm falling in love and I'm insecure Hold me and Touch me I see you What do I mean when I Can't let go (Say you love me)
3.
Staying inside With my warm blues My heavy heart Weighing me down And I don't Understand Why you won't Hold my hand And how long Will it be Until you stay Here with me I'm so tired of trying to be found Giving it time To figure you out I'm living in Tall, tall shadows of doubt Now I can't Face the fact That you don't Want me back Will I get What I want At this point Probably not I'm so tired of trying to be found Well I never Loved you right Now I smoke Lemon light You're the first In my heart And the last One who leaves I'm so tired of trying to be found I'm so tired Of trying

about

With a broad blend of gentle folk, fuzzy electric guitars, and spacious string accompaniment, each song on Cam Ostrom's The First Three EP will take you in a different sonic direction. A lyrical through-line of memory, yearning, and time holds it all together.

Another Familiar Window is a reimagining of its 2020 version; an acoustic guitar-plucked tune documenting the experience of an old memory in a foreign place. I See You draws more evidently on flavours of shoegaze and dreampop, with softly-delivered words hiding under a bed of guitar, referencing a love that might have been. Tired of Trying to Be Found is a calm, expansive ballad about losing someone dear and the pain and isolation in starting all over.

These songs are places where your heart may settle.
